Are these the official papers?
Every paper comes from the Ministry of Education archive. It is stamped with the seal only after the source has been checked.
How are the solutions checked?
Each solution is matched against the official marking scheme, then reviewed by a subject teacher before it is published.
Is it free?
Yes. Every paper, explainer and solution is free for Somali students.
Can I use Naqtiin AI offline?
Yes. Papers, solutions, explainers, practice tests, your timetable and your own files all work without a connection. Nothing in the app needs the internet today.
Which subjects are included?
Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for now. More subjects will come in updates. Your timetable can already include all twelve school subjects.
How do I set up my timetable?
Open Menu → Schedule, or tap the Today card on Home. Pick a day, tap Add subject and choose that day's subjects in order. Drag the handle to reorder them, and use Copy to other days when days repeat.
How does the morning reminder work?
On school days, Saturday to Wednesday, it tells you at 7:00 which subjects to bring. It repeats every 10 minutes until you tap “I've collected them”, for up to two hours. On a holiday, tap “No school today”.
How do I change the reminder time or turn it off?
Go to Menu → Schedule → Reminder. Tap the time to change it, or use the switch to turn the reminder off.
Why doesn't the reminder arrive, or why is it late?
Check that notifications are on for Naqtiin AI. On newer phones, also allow Alarms & reminders - the Schedule screen shows an Allow button when it is off - and turn off battery saving for the app.
How do I open my own files?
In WhatsApp, Telegram or Files, open a PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Markdown or text file and choose Naqtiin AI, or share it to the app. You can also add files from Menu → My files. They stay on your phone and open offline.
How do I zoom in and out?
Pinch with two fingers on an exam paper, an explainer or a file. On text, the words get bigger and wrap to fit the screen. On PDFs, slides and pictures, the page itself is magnified.
Can I highlight and take notes?
Yes. In a PDF, press and hold to select text, then highlight it or add a note. Bookmark any page with the ribbon at the top. Menu → Notes & highlights collects them all, and you can share them.
How do practice tests work?
Open Practice, choose a subject and start. When you finish you get a full report: your score, your time, every question with the right answer, and the topics to revise. Menu → Results keeps your history.
How do I change the order of my subjects?
Press and hold a subject card on Home, Solutions, Exams or Practice, then drag it where you want it. The same order is used everywhere in the app.
How do I change my name, photo, language or theme?
Tap your picture or the pencil next to your name in Menu to change your name and profile photo. The photo stays on your phone, and only the latest one is kept. Language and theme are in Menu → Settings.
Does the AI assistant work?
Not yet. The assistant is still being prepared, so for now it shows example answers.
Where is my data stored?
Only on your phone. Nothing is uploaded and there is no online account. If you uninstall the app or clear its storage, your results, notes and files are deleted. See Privacy in Menu → About.
